According to lunar calendar, the day 15th August is the traditional festival in China, we call it Mid-Autumn Festival . In this day, family stay together to celebrate by eating mooncakes.
There is a fairy tale about this festival. Long long ago, there is a woman whose name is Chang’e, she has a kind husband, they live happily. One day she eats a magical pill given by a celestial being, then she feels herself getting lighter and lighter, finally she leaves her husband and flys to the moon, and lived on the moon from then on. And this day is remembered by people as Mid-Autumn Festival.
